The Eau Claire hospitals are overwhelmed as is the new Oakleaf Urgent Care here in Chippewa.  The new hospital will help the other two by taking some of the stress off the ER and in-patient units.  Many people have waited in the ER for hours or are sent hours away for admission due to bed status, which isn’t good for anyone.
