Garbage and Recycling Containers: LOCATION OF GARBAGE & RECYCLING CONTAINERS FOR COLLECTION Town of Eagle Point January 2021 Garbage and recycling containers can be placed up to but not on the paved surface of the town road. Containers shall not interfere with town snowplowing operations or endanger the movement of vehicles or pedestrians on the public roadway.  Storage of containers in the town right-of-way, which typically extends 33 feet from the center of the town road, on a continuing basis is not allowed. Therefore, containers shall be removed from the town right-of-way as soon as possible after weekly pickup by Waste Management. In addition, containers shall not be placed in front of mailboxes. The town will not be responsible for damage to garbage and recycling containers not properly placed or left in the town right-of-way on a continuing basis.
