Absentee Voting Notice: VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT Town of Eagle Point Chippewa County Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered to receive an absentee ballot. Proof of identification must be provided before an absentee ballot may be issued. You must make a request for an absentee ballot in writing. Contact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the primary or election or both. You may also submit a written request in the form of a letter. Your written request must list your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature. You may make application for an absentee ballot at: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/ Making application to receive an absentee ballot by mail The deadline for making application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is: 5 pm on the fifth day before the election, Thursday April 2, 2026. Note: Special absentee voting application provisions apply to electors who are indefinitely confined to home or a care facility, in the military, hospitalized, or serving as a sequestered juror. If this applies to you, contact the municipal clerk regarding deadlines for requesting and submitting an absentee ballot. You may also request and vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office or other specified location during the days and hours specified for casting an absentee ballot in person. Contact your municipality on the dates for in-office voting. You may also check the town website for hours. Voting in the clerk’s office can begin no earlier than fourteen (14) days before the Election. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in the clerk's office: Contact your municipality on the dates for absentee voting in office. Please note: no absentee voting can be done the day before the election. The municipal clerk will deliver voted ballots returned on or before Election Day to the proper polling place or counting location before the polls close on Tuesday April 7, 2026. Plan Commission Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm, when needed, check the calendar for notice.

The Annual Meeting is held the 3rd Tuesday of April.

Recycling Center: open the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00am to 2:00pm closed holidays and deer opener, please check the calendar for any changes. 16306 165th Ave.

Garbage Service: Eagle Point Provider: GFL, please contact them for service set up and billing questions. The Town of Eagle Point does not handle this. This if for trash and recycling carts for your residence.

No other provider is authorized to provide service for the carts. If you are looking for the larger containers such as 2 yarders or bigger, you may contact the provider of your choice.

Town Hall & Pavilion: We have a town hall that can be rented for parties, a pavilion that can be rented for picnics, and a concession stand near the softball field. For rental rates and dates contact Laurie Hebert (715) 288-6770

Open to the public all year long: playground area, picnic tables, softball field.
